Malta International Airport announces half year results and 0.8c dividend The directors have approved the payment of an interim dividend of Lm0.008 per share. This dividend will be payable to shareholders on the company register on 30th January. Globe and British American Insurance complete merger GloBAl Financial Services Group announces that it has today merged its operations with the local operations of British American Insurance Co. (Mtius.) Ltd. 31,037,736 ordinary shares (representing 47% of the issued ordinary share capital) will be issued in favour of British American at a price of Lm0.20 per share. MIA Allocation Details The Government Privatisation Unit announced over 4,700 applications were received for the sale by the government of 13,530,000 ordinary shares in Malta International Airport. The share offer was fully taken-up with a margin of over-subscription. MGP Bond Offer : Applications met in full MIA Employee Offer : Applications met in full Public Offer : First 15000 met in full, next 35000 met at 60%, any remainder will met at 55% Big Bon announce Bond Offer Big Bon Finance PLC announces a bond issue to raise Lm2.5 million. The bonds will be guaranteed by Alhambra Complex Ltd and Alhambra Trading Ltd. Application forms will be available Monday 2nd December. The Lm100 bonds are being issued at par and pay an interest rate of 7.0% per annum. The offer opens on 9th December and will close on 12th December, or earlier if the issue is oversubscribed. CareMalta announce Bond Offer CareMalta Finance PLC announces a bond issue to raise Lm3.8 million. The bonds will be guaranteed by CareMalta Group a subsidiary of Vassallo Builders Group Application forms will be available Monday 21st October. The Lm100 bonds are being issued at par and pay an interest rate of 6.5% per annum. The offer opens on 28th October and will close on 1st November, or earlier if the issue is oversubscribed. MIA prospectus to be issued at end of October The Ministry of Finance said that the prospectus for the 20% IPO in Malta International Airport will be issued by the end of October. Simonds Farsons Cisk plc - Rights Issue and Bond Offer SFC announce a 1 for 14 rights issue at 60c per share. The rights are transferable and can be taken up from 2nd October until 24th October. 2 bonds issues are also to take place 1) Issue of Lm1.5 million 6.25% 2006/8 bonds of Lm100 each issued at par 2) Issue of Lm3 million 6.6% 2010/12 bonds of Lm100 each issued at par The shares and bonds are being issued to fund the redemption of the SFC preference shares and to refinance borrowings.
